Cain is an excellent salesman - positive, friendly and confident. He put a lot of energy into selling our flat in Catford by drumming up interest, securing viewings and presenting the property very well to potential buyers. It means a lot to us as achieving a good sale helped us to upgrade to a house for our young family. Cain is well supported by Richard and Max and they make a fantastic sales team. Richard helped us to buy a house on a lovely road in the catchment area of our preferred school, his negotiation skills and experience helped us to secure that property over fierce competition. I hope we can stay in our new house for a long time but if for some horrid reason we have to go through the selling buying process again I would without a doubt go to Acorn Catford first.

Acorn Catford were extremely helpful in facilitating both our sale and purchase. Richard Allen and Max Smith were extremely efficient in marketing our property and have impressive local knowledge. They got us a more than satisfactory price for the property we were selling, and we got very good value on the one we bought through Acorn too. Our chain had a few complications, but Max and Richard were proactive in re-marketing our property and got the sale moving again within hours. Paige and Franco were also really helpful in this process. At what is a very busy period in their industry, they were always responsive and communication was spot on. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell.

While looking around a few weeks ago for somewhere to rent I came across a place advertised by Mann. Given the current situation I was hesitant in going and viewing places but I was instantly put at ease when being shown around by a guy called Silva. I later learned that he is in fact the manager and I must say he is an excellent one at that. He listen to what a required in a place and guided me in the right direction. Overall I was very pleased with the experience I received from Mann Letting Agents.

Having viewed properties with multiple estate agents, I can honestly say that Reeds Rains have a much more personal touch than some of their peers and seem to be invested in the actual transactions they handle. As with all purchases there can be complications, however I was pleased with the communication from Eugene and Maev. When one was out, the other would step in and do their best to move the transaction along. Transparency is very key for me and I feel I got them with them. Take a piece of advice and do not use this company. Property was advertised by leef property which is an office based in warrington, the landlord is not a person it's livingway Ltd... and finally southlondonestate that's managing the house. I and my partner needed to move out sooner than our agreement ended as we were facing financial issues because of Covid-19. We tried to speak to the landlord through southlondonestate and use the Government's advice that asks landlords during times like the one the world's been having now to be understanding even if there is no break clause in the contract. Well I think you figured by now... They never tried to help me... Quite the contrary. Wasted our time, money... And of course we are nobodies for big companies like this... Speaking to any of them over the phone is a nonse task... They treat you like you are a nobody who doesn't know a thing in the world. Absolutely impossible to make them understand what you ask them and every single time I called them I needed to explain everything right from the beginning even if there was 5 minutes between the calls. I got promised several times that I would get a call back... Well well... I didn't. Reported boiler switch that broke down... After 2 months? Still not fixed. Use any of their properties with great care, go for a brake clause before you sign anything and be sure to have records on evrry single word you communicate with them... If you are an expert at these, still not recommended... Long term headache is waiting for you in case you go with these people. Take a piece of advice and avoid these unreliable people. It's been 4 days since the new tenants moved in and I still need to fight for my deposit...?? How I would describe it? It's a bad joke... Or even worse. It's a never ending nightmare...

This agency is not the biggest but that is one of their advantages. You get to know the 3 friendly agents and more importantly they know their tenants and properties really well. It is all very uncomplicated. Issues are being dealt with quickly and without having to fill in any forms or the like. Moving in was easy as well as moving out. Having rented from multiple letting companies in London over the years, I'm speaking by comparison. This is a small, informal, family run letting agent without the glitz, glamour and pretentiousness of others I rented from in the past in London and their way of operating follows in the same line. Some people, including myself, may find their processes a little baffling at first in comparison to what they're used to, but I assure you they were just as good or better than all other letting agents I can compare them with and, in my experience completely trustworthy. They addressed all of our queries promptly without fuss and questioning. They took full responsibility for any issues with the property and the process of handing our notice and returning the deposit at the end was simple, fast and smooth. That said, the flat we moved into was great and newly done up, issues were minimal and primarily related to the refurbishing not having been stress tested by any other tenants. We ended up living in there over 3 and a half years and only moved out for buying our won property. I cannot comment on any other ones of their properties, but based on our experience I highly recommend them.
