I would highly recommend Ushers to every landlord in the neighbourhood. Being a family business, the founder and the CEO of the business, Michael Usher, is passionate about his profession and has been very proactive in delivering his service. The fee schedule is transparent and fair. Most importantly, he and his staff are attentive to details, which is very important for overseas landlords like me who need close follow-ups on a frequent basis. It is amazing to see how much effort Michael and his team has put in to ensure I could get a quality tenant moving in my property within one month of posting the rental ads. Michael and his team gave a lot of good advice for first-time landlords too. My newly-bought property is in fairly good condition but still needed some painting on the walls. His team of handymen charged appropriately to have these jobs done well too.

Just exchanged on our new house purchased through Ushers, we had a long chain with a tough journey but this was made easier with the help and support of Stephanie and Michael. Helpful, Professional and efficient agency who go the extra mile. From initial conversation with Fleur, she ensured she understood my needs and was able to negotiate with the landlord. From the outset, the tenancy process was explained in detail to ensure I understood the procedure and there was no surprises. Fleur kept me informed of the progress which made the usual stressful experience of letting a property a much easier process. Being customer focus certainly makes them vastly different from my usual estate agent experiences. Definitely glad I found them and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a property.

Terrible client service and communication is non-existent. Came across them while viewing a property. We are a first time buyers and were informed by Silverman Black that the sellers were eager to move ASAP so we believed them and made an offer. Our offer got accepted on August 26th 2020. it has been over 7 months and we are yet to complete the process. I understand that the seller is struggling to find a suitable property and therefore, it is taking some time but that does not explain why there has been no communication from the Agent. For the first 3 months, it was always me calling them to receive an update every few weeks and from late December, i have only received 1 phone call. As an Agent, they were not pro-active. I felt they only had the seller's interest in mind and not the buyers.

Poor customer service, called with an enquiry within the company only to have somebody tell me they don't have time and abruptly hung up the phone. On the 2nd call he was very dismissive and unbothered. This has put me off from using this company if that is how they treat all of their potential customers.

Avoid. Whilst the problems myself and my partner had with buying a property was in no way related to Silverman Black ( inept developer) the general conduct of the estate agents was very very poor, espcially from Simon whose tone in his emails came across as indifferent and a bit snarky. A point proven in his 2 word reply in repsonse to a fairly lengthy, emotional and heartfelt email from myself at the end of our process with them.

Silverman Black have been excellent from start to finish! My experience with estate agents has never been great, but these guys are completely different from all other high street agents, really going out of their way for that personal service. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. Thanks again for all your help, Michael.
