I highly recommend Acorn Estate Agents which I first used in 2004 to purchase my flat in the Jam Factory in Bermondsey and subsequently to let the flat, always successfully. Now, in 2021, I have just sold the flat thanks to the excellent service of Beth Roberts in Acorn Sales. The sale proved a lengthy process; but Beth remained, as she promised, actively involved throughout, and her professionalism and support was much needed and greatly appreciated. My thanks to Acorn Sales and Lettings for 17 years of excellent service.

I'm very happy to write that everything Beth (and Stuart) at Acorn said came true. She is calm, reassuring and her judgement is spot on. I unreservedly recommend them.

Our recent experience with Acorn Estate Agents was a lovely and positive experience. The agent who we dealt with was Suzzannah and she was extremely helpful and friendly from our initial viewing to the signing of the lease. We're thankful we had Suzzannah, as she made the entire process easy to manage and was attentive to our requests. I had a lovely experience with acorn all the staff that I spoke to was always really nice. But the agent suzzannah who dealt with my move made it quick and cheerful and kept me updated at all the time. She was absolutely lovely and also helped me move my boxes in which was very nice of her! I would definitely recommend acorn 🙂

Absolutely genuine attention and great problem solving skills. We have had quite a few incidents over the past 6 months for which we have approached Right Now Residential. Each one of them were dealt with thoroughly, effectively and at rapid speed. The person we dealt with, Evija, was phenomenal in her handling of each request. In some specific instances, she went out of her way to ensure we were okay as well as dealt with the issue seamlessly. Her stakeholder management skills and her sharpness to get things done is exemplary. Her problem solving skills, her professionalism and her tenacity were exhibited when she was the crucial cog between the tenants (us), landlord, building management, contractors and neighbours (as it was a multi-flat issue). Top notch customer service.

Right Now Residential are on it. They're on it right now. We have been hugely impressed with their no-nonsense, intelligent approach to property which puts others to shame. If you are looking for a friendly, transparent and efficient service these guys are the ones to go to. They are now managing the letting of our flat and are extremely efficient, always communicate speedily and while we are far away it is total peace of mind.

We have been clients for more than 7 years and have found the service to have been exemplary! All contacts by email or telephone have been charming and efficient. We recommend this company as first class. Very happy to refer our friends and associates.

I have had a horrible treatment from this agency. I was at university at the time and didn’t know that i was being treated unfairly. We were 7 people living in a house with one bathroom, on top of that the landlord had no clue that his house was overcrowded and as soon as he knew, he gave a notice to the agency. To make it worse, the agency tried to use the fact that they were doing us a favour by giving us a notice and didn’t even bother helping us find another house. At the end of the month, they tried to ask us to pay for rent when we were meant to move. This agency will try to squeeze you so many people in a small flat. This was a 3 bedroom flat but 7 of us were living there. And the rent we were paying was £400 each. So they were collecting £2800 each month for a whole year. They deserve no star at all.

I had a great experience with Griffins Estate agents as rented a room near Bermondsey station. They really care when you have issues and cleaner do comes once a week as promised. They are always responsive and nice to talk to. William from the agency is lovely - he always was my point person when I needed something from the day when the letting was agreed. I got a full deposit back as promised too. Overall, I would recommend this agency for others - as this agency is reliable and have lots of properties that they manage locally.

Alex and Matteo have been just GREAT! I have used their services in September 2020. The times were diffuclt and a lot of quarantine rules were in place, however even then Alex has managed to show me properties and bring them to better light. The property itself has been great, the quick responses from them also helped in resolving ANY issues I could have had. Lastly, regarding bills, taxes and maintenance, all the documentation and needs had been almost taken care of. Alex and Matteo both try to give you a solution rather than redirect you to another party. Which is what we value the most as tenants and landlords. Thus, this is the best agency I have had the chance to use!

To whom it may concern I am thoroughly chuffed to have found the Garrett & Whitelock Estate Agency. They have been affable, conscientious and professional throughout. They guided us ever so carefully and patiently through the gauntlet that every first time seller must negotiate and made Hurculean efforts to succeed with the first attempt, though it had to be aborted due to unavoidable difficulties. They were then very helpful and professional in organising the flat rental for awhile until it was time to try for another sale at which time they helped to find to find a cash buyer who sailed through to completion. Though our business together is technically finished, I still feel free to call and ask advice on our other properties, as one would ask of a friend. The worst Estate Agent I have ever experienced. They waited me for more than 2 weeks. They didn't even reply to my emails. After all this time, They said; we can't rent the flat to you. !!! If I had a problem, you should have told me sooner so that I wouldn't lose other flats. I was told in the emails that my condition was not a problem, but two weeks later their words changed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE.

My flat has been rented out through Independent London for the last two years. Prior to that, I used an estate agent with a chain of offices throughout SE London. The contrast between the two is incredible! Independent London are extremely professional, really helpful and super efficient. I have had so much more peace of mind regarding my flat since I started using them and really appreciate that they are on top of everything, from tenancy renewal to certificates needed, also able to recommend good workmen and also finding good tenants with minimum hassle. Steve and David are great to deal with, easy to get hold of, clearly very knowledgeable and always very helpful. As estate agents go, they are the best that I have dealt with!

I have enquired, left voicemails daily and got through to one person who said that an agent would return my call, nearly a week and nothing. If I cannot even get someone to return a call based on an enquiry how on earth am I supposed to trust them with an actual rental.
