Listed and Rented out in less than 6 hours! Well done Mashroom. Excellent service provided by Mashroom, good clear dashboard for managing appointments and subsequent offers!! I would never use a High Street Estate Agency to market for me again. I look forward to using Mashroom in the future.

Amazing customer service, couldn’t believe it was free! Debbie was amazing every step of the way making a very daunting process much less stressful. Would recommend to anyone over an estate agent and still astonished I’ve not had to pay any fees for all of her help!

User-friendly, great future-proof platform. Easy to use and upload properties. The dashboard allows straight forward communication with guests. Really helpful members of the team who were always available to answer questions re: using Mashroom.

A unique and time saving innovation. Thank you Mashroom. Refreshing and user friendly. So much easier than the traditional process. Being able to speak to the landlords direct and building a relationship of trust early on I found to be hugely beneficial. At last, a unique and time saving innovation.

Mashroom was recommended to me and I’d gladly recommend them to anyone. From the first interaction with Mashroom I knew I'd chosen the right people to help me let my flat. Within one week of advertising it, I had two offers, even one offering more than I was asking for. I never thought an end-to-end process of 15 days would be possible...

Stephen Kerr gave me some great property advice for the Battersea area. It’s not somewhere I had looked into before as a first time buyer, but he explained the potential of the area with the redevelopment of the powestation and new tube lines being put in place. He’s also given me plenty to think about with regards to my search. Really friendly and approachable.

Annabel Edwards from the Douglas and Gordon Battersea office was fantastic to work with! She was super attentive and followed up quickly. After I gave her my requirements she wasted no time and called me to come visit the perfect property asap. I wouldn't have got it without her expert knowledge, understanding of clients, and excellent service. Thanks Annabel, you are a star!!

I had used a couple of estate agents to try and sell my property before moving to D&G and they were the best by far and managing to sell my property! There were a couple of blockers faced during the sale process, however Tom and Georgia couldn't have been more helpful, always responsive and professional throughout to ensure that the sale went through. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Douglas & Gordon have sourced tenants, managed tenancies and also overseen a complete refurbishment of my London apartment over the course of the past 14 years. They have done an excellent job in all areas. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any other property owner. Their communication is first rate, their staff knowledgeable and I trust them completely with the management of my property.

Douglas & Gordon were extremely efficient and professional in helping us find a house to rent in the Battersea Park area, and stood out above all other agents we’d registered with. Annabel clearly grasped exactly what we were looking for and provided some great options at different price points, and arranged viewings promptly. The personable approach, regular contact and willingness to converse with the landlord on our behalf proved extremely effective, and we felt she and D&G played a big part in helping us find a great property. A really pleasant experience, will definitely be going back next time we look to move.

I have nothing but great things to say about the service I have received at this estate agent. Professional, warm, friendly and very quick to respond with highly relevant properties which always reflect what you have actually asked for. I was particularly impressed with Jesse Jacobs who encompasses all these qualities and tailors the properties to his clients needs. Excellent service all round and I have no hesitation in recommending him and them.

I've been incredibly impressed with how Dexters have handled my upcoming move, Ashley in particular has been a real delight to have helping sort viewings and paperwork. Constant communication and happy to go above and beyond. I've never been so happy with an estate agent, would recommend highly!

Dexters have been so professional and helpful from start to finish. We were renting our property in London and from photos to offer on the table, it took about 3 days. Both Tom and Jesse have been incredibly helpful and answered all of our queries very quickly. They also helped us negotiate a great contract with the tenants which puts us in a great position for when we remortgage. Thanks Dexters!

I would highly recommend Dexters Battersea Estate Agents to friends and family. My experience with dealing with them was nothing but positive and they were attentive, fast to respond and extremely supportive in helping my friend and I who are new to the London area. Irina is a credit to Dexters Battersea and went the extra mile to ensure that my friend and I were comfortable, well-informed and supported throughout the process of signing a tenancy agreement through Dexters Battersea. Her communication with us has been excellent and she has gone the extra mile to make our move to London as smooth as it possibly can be this coming July. We're very grateful to have had her support and guidance for finding the right property for us in London.

I moved the property management of my Battersea apartment from another real estate agent to Dexters recently and the experience has been very positive. My property manager, Ashley, is well informed, responsive and very helpful. He visited my property , advised me on market rates etc. When marketed the property was let within 24 hours. The experience with Dexters overall has been excellent.

My girlfriend and I moved from Dublin to now London. We had the privilege to be working with Adeel. He was our trusted advisor in finding the right place. He is extremely friendly and professional. No wish was ever a problem. He handled everything for us and always acted with our best interests in mind. Throughout the process we worked with a few other people from Chestertons and everyone was very helpful and supportive. Overall the whole process with Chestertons has been exceptional.

Adeel was amazing! He showed me a place that I hadn't selected myself, but somehow he knew it would be perfect for my cat and I. The whole experience was very in tune with what I needed and I felt very well taken care of especially for someone who is looking to move into a home with a pet. I am grateful for the care, professionalism and excellent service.

If you're looking for a rental property in Battersea ask for Charlie Carter. He's the only estate agent I've met who called ahead of the viewing to confirm, checked how we were getting there and even arranged parking for us! He is knowledgeable, polite, professional and puts a lot of effort into getting to know you and your requirements. A++++++

A waste of time. They posted photos of a supposedly very nice flat that didn't bear any resemblance with the flat itself, which was in a terrible condition. And I was assured by phone that the flat was very nice. Also the estate agent was very unfriendly.

S E, 05 Nov 2020
2

All the people I spoke to on the phone were nice and polite, however I put in an application for a property 2 weeks ago, and had to chase this up twice as there had no been update on whether or not I had been successful. When I called the first time I was told that I would get a phone call on the outcome of my application, so I waited around a further week for a phone call and still heard nothing back. I also sent three emails and have not had one response. I then checked on the website and can see both the rooms I applied for have been let, which is fine I understand not everyone can be chosen, but considering I would be told the outcome of my application and it took two weeks in which I had to chase it up myself I am thoroughly disappointed with the whole process. When you like a property and you are waiting around to be heard if you are chosen, you may turn down other properties in anticipation of waiting to hear back from the place you like the most. To be told I would be called back and never receiving that phone call only to hear the rooms have already been let was highly disappointing as I believe it would be good to let applicants know the outcome. Even if not in the form of a phone call but updating the website to say "unsuccessful" on the application. This whole process I've had no real communication and the waiting game was anxiety provoking. Also I was surprised to show up to my initial viewing and see around 15 other people there at the same time in the middle of a pandemic. It seems strange to me to schedule so many viewings at the same time for a 4 bedroom property. The property was nice at least so I hope those staying there have a good experience.

One of the best Agency I have been in contact with. Jenny is Super professional, Always follows up with an email and her response time is amazing. I had many changes along the way and she was more than happy to help me with the process as well as moved face paced with the timeline I had set. I couldn’t have asked for a less stressful experience as I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted and never got frustrated. - Thank you Jenny You’re Amazing!

So basically the new strategy that lettings agents advise and probably convince landlord to go by is: 1. List the propriety for a lower price to generate interest 2. Tell people that make offers that someone has already offered the asking price so that they can start a bidding war and drive the price up 3. Play new tenants into paying more for the actual propriety. Very nice. If you hear them saying that someone has already offered the asking price know that they were never looking to accept the asking price and just make you take part in their bidding war which means they are a very sleazy agency and you definitely don't want to be conned by them! Be smart. I hope this review helps some people realize what has become of the lettings market. Shame on you letting agents.

I have been living in London for 25 years. I bought, sold properties and now renting. Deal with many State Agencies in central London and I prefer business they know the area and have a personal touch than big corporations. With Mark I was just in the right hands at all the time. The process was very smooth. I can’t thanks Mark enough for all his help.

We've let out flat through Mark for a few years now and the service and advice has been of the very highest standard. Everything is consistently done quickly, professionally and with the minimum of fuss. I cannot be more thankful to have Mark looking after the property I just purchased. Not only he was way more professional and helpful than any other "big name" agencies I interacted with previously, but he was also excellent at keeping the relationship between all parties involved. With Mark I was felt reassured everything was going well, all was being very transparent and issues were being dealt with with the highest level of importance and care. I would without the split of a doubt call Mark should I deal with my property in future.

I am very grateful to both Michael and Charlie at Aspire. They were always friendly, communicative and professional, and worked really hard to push through with what turned out to be quite a complicated flat sale. Had an amazing experience with Charlie at ASPIRE who helped me secure my new flat!!! He was extremely pleasant to deal with, quick to follow up, and made my life incredibly easy. I looked at multiple flats and landed on this one before the other agents had even followed up. I can say the difference between Charlie & other agents was his quick follow up, quick action and making the process very simple. Other agents lost out because they took too long to reply, didn't have the right follow-up and didn't realise that time-poor individuals like me just need someone to make it happen quickly. He is an asset to ASPIRE!

By far the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with - absolute *crooks. AVOID at all costs. Ended up staying in the rented property for only two months due to breach upon breach of contract from their part. The main breach included building works we weren't told about (RIGHT outside my bedroom window), no internet at times due to said building works, eventually leading to receiving an email that my bedroom window was going to be knocked out due to these building works with me LIVING in it! And so was forced out of the property, leading to early exit fees from bills and a frantic dash to get out (we were told with two weeks to go). Shakil and Harvey were unresponsive and not helpful....except of course when they were flogging the property to us at the beginning. The communication between their team is appalling (unless they just like to blame each other) and for those two months we were in that flat, we encompassed issue after issue and stress after stress. Not to mention the noise when we were promised a quiet space to work from home. Finally, when I mentioned all of this to my brother and mentioned a guy called 'Shakil', hilariously my brother had dealt with him in the past and agreed he was a crook. Honestly, save yourself a mountain of stress and do not do business with Absolute Living.

Rebecca Davies, 21 May 2021
1

As neighbours of one of their properties we have to live daily with their obscenely low maintenance standards. One thing is absolute for sure and it's their lack of responsibility and inaction on even the most basic neighbouring issues, such as pruning a tree or keeping common areas clean.

I rented a flat for 1 year. The flat was nice but the Agent looks only at her interests. Not available for a 6 month break close and very stricted to September as date of beginning and end. She is the owner and agent of the house (a bit weird). We had to take care of the Garden by contract but we couldn't access the garden storage. Her post was delivered to our apartment. Charged £260 for the end of tenancy cleaning+window cleaning+oven cleaning, even tho it's not required by law!!

Experienced Property Agency. They helped me through the process of finding a place to rent. My flat was managed by a landlord-owner, so Thresher Owen services were available for signing and renewal of contracts. Their contracts are crystal clear, easy to understand. Then he guided me through the long sales process from his extensive knowledge. Sixteen years ago I bought the property through him and I’m glad I used the service of Thresher Owen again.

They are great, always have acted above and beyond in order to be helpful, respect tenants and always have been totally professional. I highly recommend them to both landlords and tenants.
