Estate agents with zero compassion.com I put down a deposit on a flat which later fell through due to the landlord pulling out as works could not be completed in time. So it was in no way my fault or problem. Unfortunately this agency didn't see it that way and tried to literally steal our deposit. They felt entitled to hundreds of pounds of our money and actually laughed in me and my partner's face when we went into the office to try and reason with them, two days before Christmas day. They weren't laughing for long. I rang the landlord and explained what had happened to us after he had pulled out and he was so disgusted. He rang the owner and threatened to pull ALL his properties from their books if they didn't give us back our money. If he hadn't done that we would have lost hundreds to these people. It was their attitude that shocked me the most. Laughing at people is quite insane. For this reason I would not use Appointmoor estates and recommend you avoid it too. I wouldn't want anyone else to have this experience
