Sadly, since the takeover by Leaders, this agency has disappointed consistently. In particular, they regularly fail in their duty of care to the landlord. The lettings staff are lackadaisical. If it were not for (the now disempowered) Gavin, we would have left a long time ago.

I just bought a flat and the service was amazing. The whole way through the letting agent Kai was always by her phone and ready to answer any questions and solve any troubles we had. She was very quick to get a hold of and the process was 5 times quicker than other particular agents. Alana came to value our property, she explained the process so well, what would happen, how much we should market for and what to expect from viewings to completion, she made us feel so at ease. Martin & co were recomended by a friend who had recently moved. They are no sale no fee, the quality of the photos taken for advertising is very good and that they can supply a solicitor and intermediaries. There is also an online system to track progress and a whatsapp group was set up to keep in touch. I also requested that they show potential buyers the property instead of me having to and they willingly did this which was a help.

We'd like to thank Mica for her very pro-active approach to finding tenants for our property. She's been great finding tenants each time we need to. In fact, within a day of advertising this time she had a tenant viewing the property....and just 10 days later the tenant had moved in. All very well managed. She minimised the time between tenants for us, but allowed time for us to redecorate, whilst quickly solving the tenants' problem - their previous property had fallen through. My girlfriend and I were looking for the one bedroom flat, and we've seen lovely listing which was posted by leaders. We made contact with them to arrange a viewing and get one more details about the listing, and what should have been a pleasant 10 minute conversation turned into a horrific chase of call backs back and forth which wasted more than 2 hours over the phone. All due to complete unprofessional approach of Tom and lack of clear communication as well as missing information which by the way, we still did not receive until now. Really disappointed in this letting agency, considering the previous positive reviews of others.

Martins are a very good estate agent. They are particularly good at giving an accurate valuation and then negotiating this with buyers. Gary is an excellent straight talking businessman which is rare. Unlike many estate agents they do not make unmeetable promises. They deliver and I and my partner successfully sold both our properties at the right price. Beware other, more slick estate agents, especially if they try to attract you with ridiculous valuations.
