As a first time private renter, I had a lot of questions and a lot of worries, but the person I dealt with was INCREDIBLY reassuring, kind and friendly. They offered to build me a profile so that if the place I was applying for didn't go through, they could send me other places that came up. Luckily that wasn't necessary as my application was accepted and within an hour and a half I had a place! I have been in my property, let through Leaders for over 10 yrs. The team have always been professional, polite and very responsive. I have been kept informed of changes, particularly during the difficulties of 2020. Any time that I have had an issue with my property, the team members have always been quick to respond to find a solution. Moved in to a property on the 19th of last month. The property had some minor things wrong that we emailed Walton and Allen (Jenna) on multiply occasions to sort out, only to be told today after multiple emails and calls that they don’t manage the property, some other company do. After being here 3 weeks and constant attempts at communication no one thought to say that this other company manages the property. This is just the basics of professionalism and at the end of the day the job your paid to do.

Most company's just give you. Generic auto response email. But I had a gentleman by the name of luke, ring me after I submitted interest in a property with yourselves. The teams have been professional throughout and Alison has gone the extra mile in assisting and keeping me updated with regularly communications and even helping out over a few snags that were beyond any of our control. Be aware they don't do viewings on the weekend. When I found out I asked a friend to view the property and called at 10am and got through to the answer machine 3 times. The next day I called at 12:45 and managed to get through to someone only to find out the property had been let. The staff I spoke to were anything but empathetic and fulfilled all the stereotypes letting agents tend to have. If I'm honest, I think I've dodged a bullet by not going through this company!

It was really easy setting up our first non-student tenancy and it didn't take very long at all. Lauren was super nice and helped us through the application process, answering any questions we had. So far had a really great experience with them.

I am extremely delighted to recommend to you the exemplary quality services of City Lettings UK (Letting agency, Nottingham). I ​lived in a property which was under their ​management for almost 9 years. They provide all tenants prompt and efficient 24-hour service. Whenever there was a problem in my flat, it was quickly fixed and if something such as a heater or ​a hob needed to be replaced, it was done in a timely manner. Once before Christmas holiday, the boiler stopped working and I was afraid I would not have hot water 'till ​the holiday is over. But City Lettings Maintenance group sent a plumper in less than 24 hours and ​the boiler was replaced in less than two days​with a new one. Unlike other agencies, they don’t bother you with constant emails or property viewings, so you feel really comfortable as a tenant. I should also note that City letting staff are very friendly and respectful. When I decided to leave, because of Covid-19 pandemic, I was very afraid about people who were going to view the apartment, but Mr Thomas Pasiak arranged everything very professionally and I did not have to come in contact with anyone. I strongly recommend City Lettings UK if you need to rent or buy a property.

Thank you city lettings for finding the most brilliant tenants for me for my first rental property. They have been in for nearly a year now with no issues! The reasonable management fee is completely worth every penny as Dani and the team have ensured my property was ready to rented out & the maintenance team have promptly sorted any issues for a really good price! The worst lettings agency I have ever dealt with. They will do anything to get more money out of you. There are much better options in Nottingham, stay away from them.

When you move in, they give you inventory doc and you check all points, was seems good,and after you move out, they put like everything is broken, not working or it's smelling of cooking even if not. Don't recommend this agency at all. Stay away !!!

I dont normally write reviews but they have the worst customer service. Unfortunately they are my agency at the moment but if you can help it, stay away. Normally agencies will let someone else pickup your key if you request it but they don't and my flatmate couldn't get a key without taking time off work because of this. Shes a doctor so as you can imagine their work hours aren't okay for her. Even messed up my council tax saying i lived at a address for 2 weeks when i never. Did not fix this. And i got a text from Bayliffs! Emailed them as i had to take time off work to sort this out with the council and make loads of phone calls. They didn't even apologise properly never mind compensation Overall not helpful and management dont care and don't reply

We dealt with Rebecca exclusively who has been fantastic during the entire process, from start to finish. During the viewing she arrived promptly and was polite and friendly, giving us plenty of time to explore the flat without applying any pressure at all. All email exchanges have been prompt, with any questions, no matter how small, being answered fully. After moving in, Rebecca has been brilliant - answering further questions and even coming out to resolve one of our issues! Thank you!

I RECENTLY SOUGHT THE HELP OF COURTNEY BOWNS OF MARTIN & CO, TO RESLOVE AN ISSUE I HAD WITH A LEAK COMING INTO MY FLAT, I FOUND COURTNEY TO BE EXTREMLELY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY SITUATION, EVERYTHING SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO WAS CARRIED OUT IN A TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER, WHICH IS VERY RARE NOWADAYS.

Terrible company. Unprofessional (using their own whatsapp to communicate with clients), lack of communication or common courtesy. Also expect prospective tenants to sign a 12 month tenancy agreement without viewing a property. They currently have a sign outside their office which reads 'Rent with the best' - more like 'Rent with the rest' Avoid like the plague.

Strawbs has been amazing through the entire process, especially linked to me moving in, been extremely patient and professional with everything answering any questions I had quickly and well, also helping out with the paperwork with anything I didn’t understand, would recommend Leaders to anyone

My property was Grade 2 Listed and as such part of a niche market. The Leaders Team, lead by Simon Horne, were truly exceptional in their dealings with me and prospective purchasers. Simon was accessible to speak with but on the occasions that he wasn't either James would help or Simon would call me back promptly. He kept me well informed. I would always recommend Leaders Estate Agents to anyone looking to sell their property. Than you.

The owner came to value our house which was done to a very high standard and I was ready to move forward after just a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we needed two rental properties to move into which would enable us to sell. Getting hold of them was hard enough but when we eventually did, our calls were never returned and properties that we had seen prior to advertisement still went up with no consideration for us or the landlords who are waiting. This slowed the process down for us as buyers/renters and for the landlords who have lost out on possible rent not knowing we are eager. Weeks of chasing and pointless calls. My observation is that the problems start with the rental side. Which is a shame considering we needed three transactions. We don't expect to be prioritised but we at very least should be kept in the loop instead of being left waiting.

Been in a property managed by Bartop for over 6 years. Have recently moved to another property through them. The whole team have been helpful and friendly. Can’t fault them at all. Special mentions for Beata and Kerry who have had more of a hands on role with looking after us in finding our next home and then the moving process.

Reluctantly you have to put at least one star for a review. Customer service is most definitely not their strong point. Firstly tried to cancel the viewing an hour before, then when met at the house, we weren't even greeted by the agent, just a cold shoulder while Alice unlocked the door, and then proceeded in to the house, eventually putting her face covering on. Abrupt and standoff attitude when questions were asked, we were genuinely interested in the property, this could have worked well for both parties on a long term let but unfortunately due to her attitude we cut the viewing very short (roughly 5 minutes) as I'd rather give my money to a company that cares about their clients, not CP Walker & Son.

I lived in a property managed by this firm, I must admit that things peculiar to them are the quality and good value they exhibit. They always respond to issues or concerns raised in a timely manner. I will recommend C P walker and son to just anyone in Nottingham for lettings and other businesses. They do a great job.

Very impressed by the service offered as would be and now actual tenants. Started well with Kath showing us three apartments over the weekend and offering constructive advice on properties and procedures. The application, checks and a further visit were all attentively handled by Ocean, who was always available and focused on getting things done. Sold and bought through William H Brown, and have no complaints on that side of the business. My daughter moved into a flat through William H Brown, and everything was fine until the tenancy agreement came to an end. We are now over 3 weeks and still have not got the bond back, William H Brown are blaming the deposit holding company, and the deposit holding company are blaming the branch at Worksop. We are caught in the middle, and no one seems to be doing anything about it!! My next step is to seek legal advice, but be wary, as this will certainly happen again to someone else!!!

We have just sold our house & bought our new one both with William H Brown we cannot fault them at all. All the staff went above and beyond to ensure we got the best price for ours & the forever home where we had always wanted. We even used their mortgage advisor as Sally found us the best deal. I would highly recommend them our experience with them has been brilliant especially buying and selling through a pandemic.
