We rented our house through Simpson West for 12 months while our house was being built. On handing the keys back, we were disgusted to find an email from Angelina stating the property hadn't been cleaned as there was a fingerprint on the door handle and therefore without rectifying this, we wouldn't get all of our £800 deposit back. We had spent two days cleaning the property to ensure it was clean for the next tenants and even paid for the carpets to be professionally cleaned. Angelina was lovely through the duration of our tenancy, but the moment we queried about our deposit, she did a full 180. My partner had a shouting match on the phone that ended in Angelina calling him a liar when he said the carpets had been cleaned, which is simply not acceptable from a company who claims to be professional. Would not recommend Simspon west, ever.

We dealt with Simpson and West when we moved to Corby. We were due to view a property we had been in contact about but whilst driving up from London we telephoned them to confirm the postcode to be told that property had sold! They rushed around to show us a different property, "the same layout" they claimed but wasn't actually ready yet... After viewing it however we noticed the garden was alot smaller and later found out it had no garage either! It took many months before the property was actually ready, numerous phone calls to Simpson and West as they never communicated with us. They couldn't wait to pass us off to the housing association the property belonged to. Wouldn't use them again tbh.

Estate agents that do a good job. They were polite, friendly and informative throughout the recent purchase of our new home. Sophie was especially helpful and even went as far as to contact the previous owners after purchase in regards to left items that were accidently left behind in a cupboard. 5 stars from us.

An absolute disgrace of an estate agents. Myself and my partner where due to purchase a property through the W H Brown Corby branch. We put in an offer on the first week of September 2020. Our mortgage in principal had been accepted. We where waiting for details from the developers (Taylor Greeves- also horrendous, avoid at all costs). W H Brown in particular Tracey, was horrendous at any contact with us. We where left waiting for information for 9 weeks!! we where congradulated, told the property was ours as long as everything went ok. We called the estate agent nearly daily for updates. No one could give any updates. Our financial advisor finally managed to get through at the end of October 2020 and it turned out they had pulled the development from us without a valid reason. It took Tracey over 2 weeks after we already knew to contact us to inform of us the house was no longer ours. As first time buyers this was a horrendous experience. I will be informing all my friends and family and work colleagues in Corby to AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! There was no contact, very poor customer service handling. Just would not recommend at all. Does not even deserve a 1 star rating- 0 !!

Great experience dealing with Darryl selling our buy to let! Would highly recommend. Sold and completed within 2.5 months of offer.

In terms of above all, professionalism and knowledge of thier business, i cannot reccomend not just this vendor but the person i dealt with, Tracey Martin, who was not only welcoming, understanding of what i was after yet made particular attention to my exact needs as to properties to view. Her professionalism was exemplary.

Tracey is the person to go to for selling your house I found her professional and she is passionate and loves her job and will go the extra mile to help people i found it great service, fulfulled our requirements as requested, could not fault tracey, would use again in future.

The attitude towards elderly, disabled people is terrible, they need to alter their approach. I had rented a bungalow from them for a couple of years .. they happily took my deposit and rent. But when I decided to move and asked for my deposit it was a different matter. Some 7 or 8 days after moving they decided to tell me that a third party held my deposit and I had to apply to them for my money. One of the staff was helpful... Fiona, but i believeTim Howe stopped that (can't have someone in difficulty being helped??) and all i had was a phone number for this third party. Now I have very poor eyesight and am not very computer literate. This third party sent a link... which to me was a foreign language, I had great difficulty focusing on the small screen to navigate this, then I had to fight my poor eyesight to try to sort passwords out.. which again was foreign language. Needless to say I failed and had to contact them again ... all they did was send further Links and emails ... which with my eyesight was a nightmare. At that point I gave up and was thinking of getting authorities involved to recoup my deposit from Howe. ... maybe small claims court. Fortunately, out of the blue I got help, my money is on the way.... but no help from Howe. HOWE, CHANGE THE WAY YOU DEAL WITH DISABLED PEOPLE.
